Fajr rice is one of the finest varieties of Iranian rice, cultivated in the fertile plains of Golestan Province, especially in the Turkmen Sahra region. The combination of rich soil, high-quality water, and the mild climate of northeastern Iran gives its grains premium quality and a natural aroma
After cooking, Fajr rice grains become long, uniform, and pleasantly flavorful. Thanks to their ideal water absorption, they cook up soft and fragrant. This rice is an excellent choice for everyday family meals as well as for special dishes such as tahchin, saffron pilaf, and chelow with meat
